There are many different credit card merchant solutions that can conquer any problem. A common problem is too many credit card orders happening at once and jamming the system, causing it to freeze or even crash completely. This can be remedied by adding more dedicated lines to the card system, or using wireless transactions.

A credit card merchant solution for online orders could be as simple as upgrading the speed of the server and network that connects the credit cards to their credit unions and banks. This allows for more information to be sent at once, and also allows for faster connections and approvals. A slow connection will make even a supercomputer seem slow.

Another credit card merchant solution is to install radio frequency readers. Many new cards, such as American Express and Visa are including special radio frequency chips in them that can be read with having to slide the card through a reader. The card is merely tapped onto a pay station that contains the RF reader which greatly speeds up transaction time, although there are still many legitimate concerns about the privacy and security of a RF card, and they will probably be used with a combination of biometrics.
