All credit cards are verified for every purchase through online credit card processing. It also prevents unauthorized charges from happening and protects both the cardholder, the merchant and the card issuer.

To verify if a network is secure for online credit card processing look in the web address on the browser. A secure network is denoted by having an “s” at the end of the “http” at the beginning of every website. It should look like this: https:// followed with the website.
